Plan your lessons
Here at Joe Weinman's studio, we cater to the students individual needs and desires. Lessons are custom designed for each student. Lessons are generally scheduled once each week, but if a student wishes to have a lesson twice a week or twice a month. We can accommodate these needs. The student will learn what he or she wants to learn. So if it's just playing chords to a song or if the student needs help with jazz band transcriptions, NYSSMA solos or learning how to read tablature, we have you covered. If you have special requests to discuss please don't hesitate to call and we will set up a plan just for you. We use state of the art equipment in preparing lesson materials. We also have on site literally 10's of thousands of notation, talature files to help the student learn his or her favorite songs.
Great News
Here at Joe Weinman's studio, we have had some very recent exciting news about some of his students. Jesse Kinch of Seaford, NY has won a recording contract with Capitol reords, as a result of winning 1st place on ABC's "Rising Star" TV program in August of 2014. Jesse had been a student here since 2003.He is preparing to record his first album.
Another very talented, young up and coming student Alex DeSalvo is performing with a recording act called "Count To Ten".

Students that come here are taught how to play their instrument as well as how to tune and set-up their guitar. How to make music is only part of the learning experience.
